The Displaced Persons Act was amended on 16 June 1950, moving the eligibility date to 1 January 1949 and raising the ceiling to 341,000. At the end of September 1951 a Ukrainian family at the Bad Aibling Children's Village was authorised to move to the resettlement centre at the Munich Funk-Kaserne for medical screening and final departure to the United States.
