The General Stuart Heintzelman, Bremerhaven to Halifax, October 1947

Bremerhaven → Pier 21, Halifax

Three weeks before the first Australian sailing the same ship carried a Canadian party. The General Stuart Heintzelman loaded 835 people at Bremerhaven on 7 October 1947 and reached Halifax on 16 October, where the museum's arrival record enters 855 passengers on a Bremerhaven, Halifax and New York itinerary. She returned to Halifax on 17 January 1948 with 850.
