The Castelbianco from Genoa to Bonegilla and Benalla, 1950

Aleksandr Pandik and Luba Wysocka trained under the International Refugee Organisation, he as a motor mechanic at Pforzheim and she as a dressmaker at Ludwigsburg, and married at Pforzheim in 1950. With Luba's parents Mykola and Aleksandra Wysocki they embarked at Genoa on the Castelbianco and came through Bonegilla to Benalla, where they lived at hut 36/7 until 1955. The archive records them as the only family it knows of to have arrived at Benalla in three generations.

The couple marry at Pforzheim after IRO training and sail from Genoa with Luba's parents
