April and May 1939
Danube barracks, Bratislava → Karlova Ves barracks, Bratislava
The Slovak military moved the Ukrainian refugee camp into separate barracks at Karlova Ves on 26 June 1939, naming Captain Leonid Klymenko commandant and the platoon commander Yurko Meshko quartermaster and adjutant. The camp kept receiving people: Sich members released from Hungarian camps, transports of Ukrainians expelled from Carpathian Ukraine, then workers, peasants and young men avoiding the Hungarian army. On 12 July it supported 180 people.
