Pionierkaserne, Mittenwald → Jägerkaserne, Mittenwald

From 1948 residents of the Pionierkaserne began leaving in larger groups for Australia and South America, and from 1949 for the United States and Canada. By the end of 1949 the roughly 600 Ukrainians still there had voted to move to the Jägerkaserne, and the Camp Council held its final meeting in late January 1950.
