Somme-Kaserne, Augsburg → Leipheim Camp

The 1949 transfer to Leipheim carried part of Augsburg's Ukrainian institutional life into another camp, and some organisations continued there and in Munich. Family histories show that journeys out of Augsburg often involved a transfer to another camp before an overseas departure. A 1987 bulletin of former Somme-Kaserne and Leipheim residents survives in the Shevchenko collection.
