Winzer Camp → Warner-Kaserne, Munich
One Ukrainian family recalled being moved in 1948 from Winzer to the former SS Warner Kaserne in Munich, where they spent a year before leaving Germany and reaching the United States in 1949. The camp at Winzer itself continued until the inventory records its closure on 13 July 1949. Departure from a small Bavarian camp usually meant another camp and a further period of waiting.
