The memorial cross at the entrance to the Hallmuir site, between the Scottish and Ukrainian flags. The plaque reads “This cross is dedicated to those who gave their lives for freedom” with the Ukrainian words Поляглим за Україну and the dates 27 May 1947 to 2007.
