Hanson and Watson advertised the sale of the Yallourn South Migrant Hostel’s buildings for removal on 11 September 1953 — staff quarters, the administrative block, twenty-five Nissen huts, the kitchen and dining room, the recreation block that had held the state school, the ablution block and the sewerage and water pipes.
