The single Norwegian page is a lodging rather than a camp. Klungset Bedehus, the old prayer house at Fauske built by the local mission society about 1915, was used in 1942 and 1943 to quarter forced workers brought in to build the German military hospital beside the farm. The hospital was the worksite and the prayer house the accommodation, and the two are kept apart on the page.12
Nordlandsmuseet documents a Ukrainian among those workers, and the local war history of Fauske names the Ukrainian work commando lodged in the prayer house. They had been deported from the occupied east into the German construction programme in northern Norway, and Swedish Red Cross relief reached the site towards the end of the occupation.345
The building outlasted the war and is now the settlement's community hall. Because the page rests on a museum photograph and its collection history, on heritage documentation of the hospital complex and on a farm and society history, it can follow one man's stay closely and cannot give a number for the people lodged there.263
